The Gear Ratio Upgrade Kit is compatible with the REV ION System and works with the 3in MAXSwerve Module and comes with two additional motor pinions and four additional spur gears that create five new extra high speed ratios to make your drive faster and more agile than ever before!
Some of the motor pinions and spur gears feature addendum shifting, essentially a change to the cut of the teeth on a gear to allow it to have more or less teeth within a similar diameter. The addendum shifted gears allow for additional reductions without the need to change the center to center distances. Follow the table for matching gear set options:
These higher speeds will allow you to fine tune your robot to the speed that works best for you. In combination with a NEO Vortex Brushless Motor you can really push the limits on the field!
